WhiteNOISE: Visual Arts Glasgow

Defining and Increasing Audiences for the Visual Arts in Glasgow
Designed and managed by Culture Sparks | Supported by Creative Scotland
Visual Arts audiences in Glasgow – what do we know about them?
WhiteNOISE is a new collaboration with the Visual Arts sector in Glasgow created by Culture Sparks. Through WhiteNOISE, Culture Sparks is working with (not for profit and commercial) Visual Arts venues, organisations and individuals to provide a picture of audiences across a range of disciplines through a programme of research. Alongside the research findings, which will be used to establish where there is potential for audience growth and organisational development, a range of resources and opportunities will be offered to WhiteNOISE participants tailored to specific needs.
Our aim is to provide as clear a picture of Visual Arts audiences across the city as possible, which means everyone in the sector is invited to participate. Whether you are a curator within a contemporary venue or a marketer for a city-wide project we would like to hear from you. WhiteNOISE Visual Arts collaborators are being drawn from (both not for profit and commercial): museum and galleries, artist-led collectives, local authority venues, institutions, independent galleries, city-wide projects, festivals, national organisations based in Glasgow and academic institutions.
