Jim recently joined the team and brings a wealth of Research, Consultancy, and Business Management experience. His work to date for Culture Sparks includes evaluation of the AmbITion Scotland programme, economic contribution of Showcase Scotland, insight gathering for RSNO, in addition to designing and analysing a number of bespoke research programmes.

Jim was previously MD at MRUK Ltd, (the largest specialist market research agency in Scotland) prior to it being acquired by Cello Plc. He has served on the Cello Research & Consulting Divisional board, and as member of the Market Research Society – Company Partner service advisory Board  and has worked with a huge number of Public and Private sector organisations thought the UK.

He is an expert in Qualitative and Quantitative research using both traditional and technology-based approaches, and also has extensive management experience including Business Planning, Sales Development, Staff Development, Quality Standards, Marketing, Financial Management and Change Management. Jim started his career in Ad Agencies and has worked in London, Manchester and Scotland.

Via Arts & Business, he is currently on the board of Cumbernauld Theatre, and was previously on the board of Suspect Culture.
